On August 12, 2024, the Multi-Purpose Hall was filled with enthusiasm as students, along with teaching and non-teaching staff, gathered to celebrate International Youth Day. The event, organized by the Red Ribbon Club and NSS, was themed "From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development," emphasizing the importance of digital innovation in achieving sustainable development goals.

The program began with a heartfelt welcome speech by Singkham Dorjee Bhutia, setting a positive and engaging tone for the day's events. Following the welcome address, a short video prepared by the members of the Red Ribbon Club was shown, focusing on raising awareness about HIV and AIDS. This video effectively highlighted the significance of understanding and preventing these diseases.

A notable highlight of the event was the presentation of a case study on HIV and AIDS in Tripura by Hari Chandra Chettri. This insightful presentation provided valuable information and shed light on the current situation and efforts being made to combat these health issues in the region.

The program concluded with a pledge-taking ceremony led by Abinay Chettri. Students took a pledge under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. This pledge committed them to promoting a drug-free lifestyle for themselves and their communities, reflecting a commitment to both personal and collective responsibility in fostering a healthier society.
